• Capacity building

We do environmental advocacy and awareness creation through environmental education and training workshop/seminars, prints, electronic and social media. Civic education focusing on citizen rights to live in a clean healthy environment and need to participate in governance issues is also something we aim to achieve.

  • Environmental conservation programs

Water is a very important resource, however very scarce. Access to clean water is enshrined in the constitution as a basic human right. Water harvesting technologies to reduce water shortages especially in rural areas. Solid waste management/water conservation through training in re-use, reduce, recycle (3Rs),Anti-polythene bags campaign and Climate change mitigation through use of alternative/green energy e.g. solar and wind. We also seek to establish tree nurseries and carry out afforestation and reforestation programs.

  • Sustainable agriculture

Over the years rain has proved to be a scarce resource. Rain water harvesting for agriculture and domestic use would significantly increase the area under green cover. Ecological agriculture through promotion of drought resistant crops that can grow in drought prone areas i.e. sorghum, millet, cow peas, cassava. Practising environmentally sustainable farming methods e.g. prevention of soil erosion by building dykes, gabions, canals, drilling boreholes to ensure food security and Agro-forestry
